Immaculata was the first to host the summer formation
week-end gathering in 2002. The idea began when formation
personnel from Baltimore, Scranton, Philadelphia and Monroe
met one another at For Mission, a two-year distance
learning program.
The Theresa Maxis connection continued during the next two
summers when Scranton and then Baltimore hosted the group.
In 2005 the Oblate/Tri-IHM gathering will be another opportunity
to gather together and 2006 Monroe will host the group gathering
in Monroe/Detroit to continue sharing and learning about
the seeds that were sown by Theresa Maxis.
