Undoing Racism Retreat 2004

Gathered on the front steps of the OSP Motherhouse, the retreatants prepare to board a bus for a guided tour of the OSP historical sites.

The Sister retreatants examine the names on a gravestone commemorating all the early OSP sisters who had been buried in unmarked graves in the Cathedral Cemetery.

The sisters celebrate liturgy in the Chapelle Basse where Mother Lange, Mother Theresa Maxis and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton used to worship.

Some of the retreatants gather at the front entrance of St. Frances Academy.

The tour guide relates the story of Mother Lange's death as well as the artifacts found in her bedroom.
